ATTORNEY BIOGRAPHY
Rebecca Brochu graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1993 and Western New England School of Law in 1996.
Rebecca’s role has diversified since joining the firm. She has become one of the principal attorneys representing the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland in real estate and corporate matters, continuing Attorney Tom Kelly’s twenty years of legal service to the Diocese and firm founder, Bob Robinson’s, forty years of Diocesan legal service before that.
Rebecca is also focusing her practice in the areas of real estate and transactional law. She enjoys assisting clients with review of their real estate, corporate and contractual matters and ensuring their needs are clarified and met in an efficient manner.
Rebecca has also continued her long-time practice and in the areas of probate of Estates, family law (including pre-nuptial agreements, divorce, custody and guardian ad litem services). Rebecca’s bankruptcy practice involves pre-bankruptcy planning and obtaining relief for individuals from overwhelming debt by filing under Chapters 7 and of the United States Bankruptcy Code.
Rebecca realizes many legal issues can create one of the most stressful times in a person’s life. She strives to provide understanding and compassion to her clients during difficult times in their lives. Her goal is to make the legal process easier while obtaining long lasting solutions for difficult issues.
In her free time, Rebecca spends as much time outdoors as possible. She enjoys being with her family, days at the beach, hiking, reading and gardening. She lives with her husband and daughter in Topsham, Maine.
